I wanted to make an introduction post that would act as a display of my inspiration for the revitalization of this blog.

I essentially watched a YouTube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Al4bwR–BgY) on how to get a machine learning internship, the video talked about learning in public. Hence, the blog. So, let’s start.

Currently, I am in a computer science program online. It seems that the job market is pretty bad for software engineers. However, machine learning/AI jobs seem to be taking off: https://bloomberry.com/how-ai-is-disrupting-the-tech-job-market-data-from-20m-job-postings/

Why not, while completing my degree, attempt to self-learn this career path. I have access to an O’Reilly subscription, if you aren’t familiar with O’Reilly, they are pretty much a dominant publishing company in the niche of computer topics. The somewhat expensive machine learning books commonly found or recommended can possibly be found for free through this subscription.

The posts of this blog are attempting to be my summations of my learnings through these books. I am pretty new to the field, so I have a lot of reading ahead of me. My math skills aren’t great, so, most likely, will have to build up a strong foundation. When I was younger, I participated in a course that taught you how to memorize many types of information; I will attempt to incorporate these skills within my studying process, but, not will cover it within the posts explicitly (the picture within this post is a hint of what it might involve).

For my study environment, I will be in my bedroom using my PC for activities that involve typing. Whilst, at other times, will be using my Meta Quest 3 to read the books on a giant screen.

If you actually read these posts, and they seem interesting/helpful, please comment down below, as it would greatly motivate me to continue pursuing this venture.

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
